This residence hall was built in 1920 and named for Mr. and
Mrs. R. E. Burt, who donated the $100,000 needed to build
this residence hall. This is the largest female hall on
campus. Each room has a bath in suite. This building was
architecturally ahead of its time. The bath in suite design
was almost unheard of and was later copied by other college
architects. Renovated in 1992.
