About the Parker Prayer Garden: |

The Alumni Association presented the Parker
Prayer Garden to the University in honor of Dr. and Mrs. Bobby
E. Parker for their commitment and service as President and
First Lady, and as a tribute to their Christian example and
leadership. It was dedicated July 30, 1991. Dr. Parker served as
president from 1971-1991. |
