As a female residence hall, Burt Hall was built
in 1920 and named for Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Burt, who donated
$100,000. It is the largest female hall on campus, and each room
has a bath in suite. The hall is said to be built before it’s
time because of the bath in suite design. The design was later
copied by other college architects. It was renovated in 1992. |
